soccer kitten || cat! yukimura

once again you can think of your own design thing for kitty yukimura here (erm i guess except the hazel eyes. that stays i think) ❤️❤️❤️ that drawing up there is how i imagine him to look like

this is shorter than the cat! masamune one, but this has less drama or something

warning: animal abuse, i think? i mean, shingen is in here and this story is about cat! yukimura, so...

You hummed as you walked around the neighborhood to visit your uncle. He called you to his house for unknown reasons and said to be prepared for anything, which you didn't take for granted. Your uncle can be.... extreme? At times.

He was the coach of a soccer team at a local school he works at, BASARA Academy. The students there were very weird, or at least they were weird when you last visited the school. There was a boy (in the music club, you assumed since he held those conductor sticks) who threw CDs at those who irritated him, a girl who held herself whenever this teacher came around her (you were more disgusted than weirded out by this), a boy who seemed to be riding on some kind of gundam (and that gundam also seemed to be a student???)*, and other weird things that you don't even want to mention.

But enough rambling about that school your uncle works at, you have arrived at the doorstep of his house! You knocked on the door, heard a couple of footsteps, and the door opened, revealing your uncle in all his glory.

"Hello, Uncle Shingen." You greeted, doing a little bow.

"(F/N)! Come on in." Shingen chuckled and pat your back as you went in the house, closing the door behind you. "Make yourself at home, I'll just go get the tea." He said, walking off to the kitchen.

You sat down and looked around, spotting a few soccer trophies here and there. Not really a few, but yeah. Your uncle came back with the tea and you drank it together.

"So, uncle, what did you call me here for?" You asked, taking a sip of your tea.

Shingen replied in a smile and called out, "YUKIMURA, SASUKE!!!" The name echoed across the house. You flinched a little. If you remembered correctly, those were the names of 2 of the boys in the soccer team. Could they be here? Gah, you weren't prepared for this!

Tiny footsteps were heard as a tiny little kitten came running towards Shingen, with a little crow flying beside it. The kitten halted just before it hit your uncle's leg, meowing loudly at him. The crow just perched beside the teapot.

"(F/N)," Shingen started, picking up the kitten, "This is Yukimura." He held it in front of your face, making you look at the kitten's big, hazel eyes. It even tilted its head in a cute manner.

"Hi there...." You smiled at it, petting its head. Yukimura purred in response, "Uh, so what am I supposed to do?"

"I want you to take him and Sasuke in." Shingen answered, "You see, when I took them both in, I thought that I could handle them both but... Well, I've been feeling a bit of back pain as of late, and I don't think that I can handle more than one tiger cub. 2 Sasuke's are fine, though." He continued, letting Yukimura sit on his lap.

The crow, Sasuke, had what appeared as a smile on his face at Shingen's comment.

"Are you sure, uncle Shingen? He looks as if he's more attached to you..." You frowned, seeing the way that Yukimura stared at his master with admiration.

Shingen laughed, "Of course! Besides, you're lonely whenever your parents are on business trips, correct?"

You nodded, "If that's the case, then I guess I'll take him and Sasuke." You smiled at him, "Erm, I'll let you say your goodbyes." You shifted in your seat as you saw your uncle standing up, with Yukimura on all fours standing across from him. Sasuke let out what appeared to be a sigh, and you didn't even expect what happened next.

"YUKIMURA!"

"MEOW!"

You could have sworn that the kitten said something like 'MASTER!', but you shook that thought of-

*SMACK*


























..DID YOUR UNCLE JUST PUNCH YUKIMURA SQUARE IN THE FACE??

YUKIMURA, A KITTEN? IN THE FACE?

The force of the punch sent the tiger-like kitten into the wall, creating a dent in it. Yukimura didn't back down, as he got up again and ran towards Shingen, jumping and scratching his face.

"MEOW!"

"YUKIMURA!"

"MEOW!!"

"YUKIMURA!!!"

You just watched in fear and bewilderment as they went back and forth between punching and scratching. Where in the world did Shingen get this cat? Sasuke put his wing on his face as if he was facepalming.

You waved goodbye to Shingen, who had scratch marks all over his face, as he waved goodbye to you. Carrying a little beat-up kitten in your arms and a crow perched on your shoulder, you walked home.

"You and uncle sure do have a close relationship." You looked at the sleeping kitten in your arms and sighed.

'Hopefully that punching thing won't be repeated with you.' Sasuke squawked.

"It won't." You replied, as if you understood his language. Taking a deep breath, you walked up to the front door of your house.

"Welcome to your new home, Yukimura and Sasuke."

Saying that Yukimura was a playful kitten was an understatement.

He was probably 10x more playful than other kittens.

Soccer ran in your family, as evidenced by your uncle Shingen, and so when Yukimura saw a soccer ball in your house, he went WILD.

You flinched when you heard the sound of glass shattering, signaling that Yukimura has broken something with that soccer ball.

You went to the living room to see a broken vase on the floor, shattered in pieces. Yukimura sat beside it, ears folded and a guilty look in his eyes, while Sasuke just stared at you with a look that said 'Please forgive him.'

You sighed and grabbed a broom, sweeping up the mess. "It's okay, Yukimura. You got a little too excited, that's all." You reassured the kitten, rubbing him behind his ears. Yukimura purred and licked your hand as an apology (at least that's what you thought.)

Sasuke squawked loudly as if he was laughing and Yukimura quickly turned to look at him, pawing at him in irritation.

'Oh man, is this your way of confessing or something?!' Sasuke squawked, flying above Yukimura so he couldn't reach him.

'Shut up! (F/N)-dono has been nothing but kind and understanding to me, so this is my thanks and apology to her!' Yukimura meowed in reply, still trying to reach him.

You giggled at the sight in front of you.

Those two are really cute.
